About the Project
Revolution 2, the famed inventors of music, are on a mission to save music. How? By creating the greatest song of all time live. How? Through improv sets, of course. This is Revolution 2: Improv To Save Music. Lexie Skye and Marco Torres of Revolution 2 will bring roughly 15 improvisers and split them into 3 supergroup teams. Those 3 sets will inspire the greatest song of all time, which will be improvised and performed live by musicians with musical improv experience to play as the ultimate band. They will also accompany the entire show, especially the improv sets, to really bring them to life. Hosts Lexie & Marco will keep the energy going between sets talking about the history of jazz and the power of collaboration. The audience will play a huge role by suggesting the themes of music to our improvisers to inspire their sets, so we will ALL be saving music together.
