The ACTORS. Wow, y’all really had me believing every moment, thought and emotion. Truly moving peformances from the whole cast.
What I didn't like
Creating more moments of thoughtful asides to let Ellen’s monologue feel more apart of the world.
My overall impression
Truly a standout of this festival. With a such a simple and well executed charm, this play enamored me. I left on the edge of my seat, my heart full. The characters were relatable and lived in: I believed these actors. The play elevated the subject matter with such a poignancy. The direction was just masterful and really honored the characters. The writing, especially that final act was refreshing. This is the quality of work that makes Fringe so special.
