Thank you for not putting out a piece of propaganda. Instead, you simply turned a mirror to the world. An incredible script that would not have worked in the hands of lesser actors. But each performer knew how to convey the subtext of each scene with beautiful nuance. A total success in achieving the conceit of theatre— a suspension of disbelief that we gazed through a fourth wall into something true, reminding us of something we may have otherwise forgotten.
What I didn't like
I’m sure someone could think of something to go here, but I can’t. :)
My overall impression
This was an earnest, unflinching portrait of young love—the ineffable, overwhelming passions of youth that leave indelible impacts during our formative years. A story that reminds the audience of that one summer, that one semester, those starlit nights that dared us to take control or be controlled by forces of physical desire, love, drugs, trauma, friendship, freedom…. It reminds us of a time when, for better and for worse, it was even hard to tell the difference.
