Loved the intimacy and the simplicity of the stage set.
What I didn't like
It all worked for me. I thoroughly enjoyed her personal mental health story revolving around an historic figure and the revelations and insight she gained from it. Brilliant
My overall impression
This show has it all … A play by play history lesson of Joan of Arc , a parking lot tour of LA , sharp, timely humor and an actress/ writer in Jessica Martin at the top of her game as she intertwines all these things into her triumphs and battles of her own soul as it parallels the story of Joan. A brilliant, vulnerable storytelling performance from Jess as it is meant to be: a beautiful, talented artist living her truth out loud for all to experience. Highly recommend !
