What I liked
Jess structures her show perfectly with a beautiful blend of Joan’s life and her own. Her jokes are all well timed so that even the darker moments don’t take the air out of the room. If Bo Burnham, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and a TED talk all came together in one show!

My overall impression
In a sea of one-person shows, this one stands out as funny, personal, heartbreaking, and truly informative! Jess is such a seasoned performer and is able to carry us through a lot of history (both her’s and Joan’s) with ease, charm and aplomb. This is a MUST SEE fringe show for everyone!
