What I liked
First of all, Jessica Erin Martin is riveting. Her words and delivery will charm and mesmerize you. Not only is this a completely fascinating presentation of the historical context of Joan of Arc’s miraculous life, it’s an amusing and heartfelt exploration of mental health. Martin is effing funny. The journey she takes you on is deftly written and exquisitely presented. BLESS THIS JESS elicits joy, compassion, and fire — in heartbreaking and triumphant ways.
What I didn't like
I do feel I should be allowed to run up there and give Martin a big squeeze from time to time? She’s just so mesmerizing. But alas! I must wait until the final bows.
