Bean’s fantastic “sad little songs” and well-timed musical breaks made the show unique and unlike anything I’ve yet seen onstage.
What I didn't like
Tough question, because the artist has already so obviously workshopped this show in every way. If anything, my suggestion would be to get a bigger venue to accommodate all the audience members who were clamoring to see this one!
My overall impression
A tightly paced yet emotionally resonant sixty minutes, Bean vs. The Robots is THESHOW to see at this year’s Fringe. Nearly constant laughter was tempered by the often poignant and deftly accessible moments of grief that made the experience so beautiful.
