Set during the chaos of the 2016 election, 6 out of 10 is a darkly funny and deeply personal one man show about a struggling gay actor looking to see how he measures up in Hollywood and in love.
Raised in the South and shaped by religious expectations and unresolved childhood trauma, McKinnon has spent his life trying to be “seen.” Through a whirlwind of relationships and auditions, he searches for validation in all of the wrong places.
6 out of 10 is a raw, theatrical journey through love, politics, trauma, and self-reclamation.
