Stellar performances from the cast and sharp, incisive dialogue from the playwright (Travers Tobis). The main character’s narration worked well, building tension and leading to a strong (and shocking) finish. I didn’t know much about the play going in but was quickly pulled into the story.
What I didn't like
For future performances, build in a longer intermission (15 minutes max). This gives the audience time to decompress after act one and to take care of nature’s calling…
My overall impression
Highly recommended. An intense, thought-provoking period piece with parallels to the modern world and the perils of technology. A dynamic acting/writing showcase.
