The demons really put on a show! Accompanied by some live directing from Mark, they wasted no time playing with every single offer. The live music was a chef’s kiss and Kenny Gray is so incredibly gifted. Mark’s devil bit up top really warmed up the audience for what was to come. The way he rejoiced in the audience interaction had us all trying to top each other with our own dastardly deeds.

My overall impression
As a performer Welcome to Hell is part worst nightmare and part fantasy. Mark plays a very affable devil, teasing sins out from the audience in a way where you are begging to tell him your deepest, darkest secrets (which I did, eek). Then we get to see his merry band of demons bring us down to our very own performance pet peeve hellscape. I really love a show where the audience is given a guarantee and the joy is how the performers interpret it. This is the perfect late night watch after a day of watching other shows – it’s gross, bizarre, interactive, and fun – like binging on your favorite junk food after midnight.
