Only Mark could make a show where the premise is to be the worst possible comedy show imaginable and make it something so incredibly funny. His crowd work, as always, continues to be impeccable. In the first part of the show, as he asks the audiences their sins, and by the end of his satanic Q&A people were practically begging to tell him their deepest, darkest secrets because of his charm and humor.
In the second, a band of his devils (other incredible performers) come out to enact the absolute worst parts of comedy shows - bits that won’t end, discordant musical improv, disingenuous one person shows - and what results is a mix of cringe, awful, incredible, wonderful comedy. I had an absolutely terrible (terrific) time in Hell!...

As a performer Welcome to Hell is part worst nightmare and part fantasy. Mark plays a very affable devil, teasing sins out from the audience in a way where you are begging to tell him your deepest, darkest secrets (which I did, eek). Then we get to see his merry band of demons bring us down to our very own performance pet peeve hellscape. I really love a show where the audience is given a guarantee and the joy is how the performers interpret it. This is the perfect late night watch after a day of watching other shows - it's gross, bizarre, interactive, and fun - like binging on your favorite junk food after midnight....

Whoever thought the devil himself can be so lovable and hilarious? Excellent show, will have you laughing to your stomach hurts! Get ready for the best worst show that will be created by what we audience members hate. Mark connects with the audience in a way that is laughable, safe, and immersive. Vigeant does a great job hosting and showcasing fellow comedians. An experience I highly recommend as an introduction to clown work, or as an enjoyable clown experience. I plan to see this show weekly, and hope Mark finds a way to continue the series....
