What I liked
I loved the Hollywood Vignette style “stand-
up comedy guy” vehicle they used to frame their beautiful mime, clown and high status artist character. I loved the little winks and the true clown sparkle in their eyes when they were being a little trickster with us, and I loved the stand up comedy microphone character which felt very fresh and worked super well. Dean is an amazing clown and we witnessed something really remarkable and needed.
What I didn't like
Microphone reverb effect made it hard to understand what they were saying, especially if they were speaking fast. I think this is the theater size or the sound tech issue.
My overall impression
I loved this show!!Dean is an icon and a pillar in our community, I absolutely loved watching them be so agile witty funny and smart. Their honesty and costuming were fantastic and they’re obviously such a talented movement artist and mime.
Always such a joy and I felt honored to witness their finest work front row, I wish all fringe shows were this good.
