What I liked

I am admittedly not very familiar with mythology, but Garrett’s storytelling was very engaging and accessible to me. This piece is very “bare bones” – one actor in a black box, minimal props and minimal tech. This show was really a unique gem for me this Fringe. Super stripped down and it got to the essence of what it is to be human. I left the theatre really wondering if Prometheus would be proud of humanity, especially in the midst of AI. The acting was also incredible!

What I didn't like

I really liked this production as it was, especially since this is Fringe and meant as a launching pad for projects. In the next iteration of this, I think the production would benefit from a director to shape some of the blocking, add some more engaging tech, maybe get some different voiceover actors for the sound. Great work!

My overall impression

A clever and thoughtful tale from Prometheus’ perspective on his theft of fire as a gift to humanity. I really enjoyed the idea and execution!
