What I liked

I loved the music weaved in throughout the narration. Julia is a great singer and has a very playful Italian energy. So many great jokes here, and her delivery is spot-on!

There’s a big reveal that is very vulnerable and also fun and sweet and funny all at once. It all builds to a beautiful ending.

I’m not usually a big blowup doll guy but damn it can that guy dance! (Italian? Lucky guess!)

What I didn't like

I don’t offer advice unless I am getting PAID, but that is no fault of this brilliant show! Julia is the best Italian comic (not that that has anything to do with it!) since Rocky. I will issue a trigger warning to anyone afraid of laughter and good times.

One thing: There could be less guitar playing. (You had to be there.)

My overall impression

Fantastic show! Julia is a triple threat: singer, actor, TRUTH teller! She’s like me—enough charm to fill the Roman coliseum (it’s ok—she’s Italian!), and she blends it with one part musical theatre, two parts confessional storytelling, and a big dollop of heart. And a teeny tiny dash of one more thing that I won’t mention because I’m not Italian (nothing to do with this) and I don’t do spoilers.
