What I liked

Strong writing, solid direction, great costumes and set design, some standout performances, great casting

What I didn't like

Some actors were pushing a little but nothing unforgivable. The sound was a bit of an issue… An area mic would have been nice, or the actors could have projected more for the space. There were several instances where it was difficult to hear the actors from the second row.

My overall impression

Beautiful story that’s heartwarming and culturally significant. Great writing with relatable and believable characters that never feel over the top. One of my favorite Hollywood Fringe shows I’ve seen to date.
