What I liked

the utilization of space and stage to depict past and present was great! Love the imagery on the screens. Characters had great blocking! Loved the fight scene.

What I didn't like

bigger venue! It was a PACKED house.

My overall impression

Very well written play about the complexities of racial tension during ww2 and Japanese internment. Loved the use of space, the characters, & the acting! Special shoutout to the talented actress that played 2 roles in both future and past. Also, loved the inclusion of the Black American experience along side the Japanese American stories. Shoutout to the actress that played Georgia too, she was great! Definitely an intense watch at times, but an important story. Well done!
