What I liked

I found the cohesiveness of the cast was a joy to watch them interact with each other as an ensemble. Each character brought their own strengths and weaknesses and made them believable Also I am a B I G fan of diversity and this production had it all. I am so hoping this production travels so people can experience what I did. Kudos cast, crew, writer and director. Because what was done in a small space was monumental!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

What I didn't like

One improvement would be to take this wonderful production to a bigger theater so that others can enjoy the beauty of it.

My overall impression

PAPER FLOWERS – What can I say: Mesmerizing and intense. The topic of racism in 1942 is still prevalent in 2026. The entire cast handled the topic with professionalism and grace. Although at times some of the scenes were not easy to watch through my tears nevertheless, I was hooked on what is going to happen next. It brought back memories of some of the worst times of my life. But still I rose above it as did this production. If you can not handle the truth, I suggest you sit this one out or yet go see it any way you may learn something new.
