I loved the concept, I loved the script and I loved the visual production of it, even if minimal. Truly thought and care were put into the projections and graphics of the show.
What I didn't like
There was no audio production; the main narator of it all started the play by apologizing for the actor’s performance, which although is most likely apart of the script, frankly set the tone for the play. I felt the jokes of the wonderfully fast-paced and quippy script were bogged down by stiff, wooden, and unprepared performances. They didn’t match the comedic timing necessary for the play.
My overall impression
A high octane comedy script that was plagued by stiff and unprepared performances. A truly wonderful concept and dialogue with no audio production whatsoever, which only added to the awkward tension of it. I would love to see a second showing of it to see if the cast loosens up with more experience.
