What I liked

The writing and the intensity of the interactions between the residents and the staff

What I didn't like

There seemed to be a lot of noise coming from back stage, which was distracting at times

My overall impression

This was very well done. The subject matter of the play was a risky one for the producer to take on, however it was apparent the material had been given the research and respect it deserves. The cast did an excellent job of portraying the challenges and nuances that can be present when working with those who are struggling with mental health disorders. There was well timed humor, intense interactions, as well as many touching scenes that tugged at the audience heart strings. A very moving production.
