What I liked
The depth Corey brought to each character made it easy to connect with and feel invested in their individual arcs and emotional landscapes. The story and themes also hit in a way that feels universal- the grief, guilt, and desire to save others as a way of saving yourself could resonate across all kinds of relationships and friendships.
What I didn't like
Nothing. I could tell each detail of this play was handled with care. Well done and congratulations Corey!
My overall impression
Just wow…I went in with few expectations and left in tears with an open heart. The work done here with Sage Center was deeply impactful funny, heartwarming, and heartbreaking all at once. This play is something truly special.
