What I liked
The setting was deceptively simple; every detail was carefully chosen and perfect. The songs were great, the dynamics between the characters were so well done, the dialogue and pacing were fabulous… I liked everything!
What I didn't like
Normally I’d say “make it longer!” but honestly I don’t even know what could be added.
My overall impression
The actors, the set, the dialogue – every inch of this show evokes teenage girlhood in a way that feels fun rather than stale or sentimental. The characters may not feel joy the whole time, but I certainly did! I couldn’t believe it was only half an hour long! So much is packed into thirty minutes that it both flies by and feels much longer – in the best possible way. This is a GEM of a show. Can’t wait to listen to the soundtrack on repeat!
