What I liked
Every story deserves to be told no matter how uncomfortable it may be but you have to be aware of the people who have lived these experiences and don’t want to experience them again in whatever capacity that may be. There is also no follow up at the end of the show to shine any light to issues of sexual violence just an ask to leave quickly so the next show can start.
What I didn't like
The show needs to have a warning to let people know what they’re going to see, it won’t spoil anything, especially considering it’s an advertised as 16+
My overall impression
I thought all of the actors did a fantastic job with the material they were given. My main issues comes with the attempted rape scene, which the show provides no warning for whatsoever. The scene itself is lengthy and not having any mention that there would be simulated acts of sexual violence is an extreme oversight. Truthfully had I not been sitting against the wall with a row full of people I would have left the theater.
