The show’s game of mapping stand-up comedy tropes in medieval times was a joy the whole way through. The characters were all vibrantly different and shiny in their own ways!
What I didn't like
I felt like the twist towards the end was justified in the play’s themes, but much of that justification felt like it came after the twist. So I understood it in context by the play’s completion but was perhaps more confused than shocked by the twist when it happened. I wonder if clearer thematic definition before the twist would yield a more impactful result. Worth noting that this is a nitpick in an otherwise stellar and very fun production :)
My overall impression
Wonderfully written, with witty mapping, dynamic characters, and a compelling story. What a delight!
