About the Project
HEAR YE, hear ye! One and all, prithee, swab out thy ears and listen up. Midwest Coast Collective informally invite thee to join us in a non-specified Kingdom, at some point between the Times of Olde and right now, to experience JESTER: a play.
The story is this: A struggling Jester strives to leave behind a life of peasantry in search of happiness, fulfillment and comedic fame. Depressed and near giving up on her dreams, she leans on her roommate and best friend for support. Their relationship grows more complex by the day, while sparks fly between her and the Barkeep at the local Tavern. At the Castle, the Royals are dealing with hidden passions of their own. Everyone has a secret, and the web that is woven of wealth, power, and lust is a tangled one indeed.
There will be love. There will be scandal. There will be dancing rats. Wilt thou be there, too?
