What I liked
I found myself unexpectedly moved by the final moment. Don’t we all just want to try something we are afraid to do and realize that we are good at it? Keep at it Sister!
What I didn't like
Not an improvement, but a joke pitch. When Bernie is talking about how standup makes her feel like she is flying:
“It feels like I am flying. What am I? The Flying Nun? Look out Sally Field! Ha— you’re all too young for that one.”
My overall impression
I loved this show. Full of joy and playfullness, Indiana radiates warmth and invites the audience to cheer and celebrate Sister’s successes and attempts at comedy. A winning performance and a fun dynamic between the two characters.
