What I liked
Indiana’s performance is so authentically hilarious and inspiring. The commitment to character and never ending humor made me feel so calm and giddy. The show is structured so well and executed perfectly. I loved the way the space was used, the supporting characters, the props, the lights, the music it was all just so wonderful. Regardless of your relationship to religion, this show is incredibly charming, rewarding and healing. By the end, I felt truly moved and inspired (and tired from laughing so hard!) This show and everyone involved freaking rocks!!!
What I didn't like
I truly didn’t want this to end! Give Sister Bernadette more time and bigger rooms! Everyone should see this!! I wish I could see it again, but its sold out!
My overall impression
Sister Bernadette is one of the most delightful people I’ve ever gotten to spend an hour with. This show made my cheeks hurt from smiling and laughing so hard. The audience integration was purely kind and inviting. The pivot into the show’s core message was so seamless and artful that I was in awe when I found myself shedding tears immediately after giggling. This show is bursting with love in a way that could truly brighten anyone’s day. I needed a laugh like this! Thank you Sister!
