What I liked
The set and lighting was beautiful. This story is so outside of my reality, but I know that it is the reality for some people. I felt that the darker, heavier topics were handled well.
What I didn't like
I would be interested in seeing a little bit more of the backstory – how did the characters get to where they are. There is some discussion of their pasts, but I was curious for a little more.
My overall impression
Despite being set in modern times, this almost felt like a fantasy or historical piece, in the best way! It was incredibly well-written and performed. I thought the characters and the story felt real.
