What I liked

The connection between the actors! Their chemistry and trust between one another was stellar!

The stage design/lighting was beautiful it really transported you into the world. I loved that there was an option to sit on the floor as well.

What I didn't like

This piece tackles so many heavy and dense subjects and leaves you wanting more, with a second half feeling a tad repetitive and an ending that felt a little abrupt. I think maybe changing some of the dialogue as it seemed cyclical would help to serve the ending as it is. I am wondering if this piece could be fleshed out into two acts, allowing you to dive deeper and allowing us to hear more from each character.

My overall impression

A provocative story that makes you think far after it is over! This piece peels back layers of corrupt religious trauma. It was as if Flower in the Attic got a Southern Gothic Religious retelling!
