What I liked
Kevin is a great musician and composer, and he brought all of those talents to this show as well. All of the musical gags and elements really paid off in the end, and it was a delight to hear his songs come to life as the store unfolded silently.
What I didn't like
Continue to work on your precise body movements, they are already excellent, but as you practice constantly, you will become one of the great mimes, BECAUSE…you’re sense of joy is there, and your emotional truth is there.
My overall impression
This show was completely original. In all my years of seeing all types of live comedy and theatre, I’ve never seen anything like this. A full half-hour mime show, COMPLETELY TIMED to a pre-written foley audience mix. And yes, Kevin is totally in-sync and hilarious. But that’s not even the best part of the show. It’s the story, we went through a full journey in 30 minutes that could easily been longer. And we were there for the emotional ride. Kevin’s acting was superb, and was a perfect complement to his mime technique.
