What I liked
ALL of it! The concept. The slide show. The jokes. The audience participation. The heartbreak. BRILLIANT!
What I didn't like
My only thing: I felt like on the performance I watched, Adam could have approached his delivery with a bit more gravitas and authority, like most Ted talks have. I think removing any sense of hesitation, especially at the top, would strengthen the arc even more as the twists and turns of the presentation starts crumbling around him.
My overall impression
Literally one of the funniest shows I’ve ever seen at Fringe and I’ve been telling everyone about it. This hilarious show is what I like to call “corporate clowning”. Adam is HILARIOUS! If you are looking for a Jake Johnson-type comedy on a budget, Adam Schwartz is your man! This show is the comedic delivery of Jake Johnson meets Andy Sandberg zingers meets the WILD third act twist of a classic Will Ferrell movie.
