What I liked
I truly didn’t expect to belly laugh quite so much! My abs got a workout. Jim Blanchette delivered stories and experiences of being a caroler in such a nuanced and poignant way, while delivering laugh upon laugh upon laugh. To be honest, I thought, how can one have a WHOLE SHOW about being a caroler? Surely there isn’t that much to say. Boy was I wrong! So much more goes into being a caroler than just a fancy outfit, top hat and great pipes. The anecdotes, the harsh realities, the sore throat prep!!! This show even won over my partner, who “doesn’t really love theater.” He couldn’t stop talking about how good this show was. Overall this show was a smash hit. Definitely recommend.
What I didn't like
I can’t really think of anything that wasn’t on point for this show. Great acting, fun writing, excellent direction and producing. This surely is a winner any way you slice it.
My overall impression
Hilarious! I wasn’t sure what to expect but the evening was delightful.
