Eric’s acting, Sam’s writing, the actress for Patricia (food lady?) was so intensely focused and believable, THESTAGESHANDS oh my goodness while they did not talk I was watching them the entire time
What I didn't like
Diction and projection.
My overall impression
Eric’s portrayal of Burt Thunders is a must see performance. Slowly watch a man descend into insanity while so desperately trying to hang on to their last ounces of dignity. How we gain the smallest ounce of empathy for one of the worst men on planet earth is bewildering, but does much to prove the complexity of Burt’s character and Eric’s acting capabilities. Sam Keeney’s writing balances the absurdism, dark humor, and social commentaries many decades-seasoned writers aim to acquire. I would recommend all keep on the look out of him and his future projects. Outside of that, the comedic acting of the ensemble stage hands were so funny. I believed every second of their acting, drink mixing, war prep, and cue cards. I would pay good money to see them have a show to themselves.
