Great singing, lovely songs that ranged the gamut. with songs that ranged the gamut in scale, from a teachers relationship to her students to national tragedy.
What I didn't like
It’s a lovely show. i have nits to pick here and there, but it seems unnecessary considering the professionalism on stage. The show is sweet and gentle, and i think many would enjoy it. Esp if you’re a fan of William Finn’s music.
My overall impression
Beautifully sung, every singer was professional through and through. Personal favorites were Richard Rosales, who has a poised yet delicate presence with a lovely baritone (I think that’s his range but don’t quote me!); a yearning sincerity from Ella Raziel, and Christopher Fishburne’s deeply felt, emotional characterizations.
