Really enjoyed the writing – so detailed and did a great job of immersing you in the world and its lore. Ann’s performance was phenomenal too! It brought so much joy and energy to the piece and all of the different characters felt distinct and recognizable. You could tell she was having so much fun which made it even more enjoyable to watch.
What I didn't like
Would happily take more cutout elements! They were such a funny and charming storytelling tool – the deep ocean sequence caught me off guard in the best way
My overall impression
Loved how minimal and graphic the production was and it still felt so rich and immersive! The lighting, language, and performance were all so lovely and I found myself completely swept up in the story.
Went in with no expectations and left feeling delighted I got to experience it – and wishing I could spend a little more time with these characters to see what they’re up to now.
