Trench was incredibly funny and well-acted. I wasn't sure what to expect other than a one woman show. What I got was a thoroughly entertaining, playful, and surprising experience. Ann Loud's Trench is an absolute delight! It's a fun and ambitious, one-woman submarine adventure in which Loud single-handedly plays a five-person crew giving each character a fully realized life and back story with seemingly effortless comic precision. The premise is gloriously absurd, the execution is airtight, and the whole thing moves with the infectious energy of someone who is genuinely having the time of their life onstage. Do not miss this masterpiece. ...

SO playful, clever, and truly had me on the edge of my seat by the "third act". Skillful use of very simple props, lighting, and sound. Ann is a joy to watch. ...

It's hard not to be completely invested in TRENCH. The play is both cerebral and visceral, drawing you into its depths while somehow keeping a smile on your face the entire journey....

An truly compelling story filled with rich, complex characters and it also happens to be unbelievably funny. Ann Loud has a rare versatility and willingness to push herself beyond what should honestly be possible (there is a knife fight in this solo show)....

Loved how minimal and graphic the production was and it still felt so rich and immersive! The lighting, language, and performance were all so lovely and I found myself completely swept up in the story.
Went in with no expectations and left feeling delighted I got to experience it - and wishing I could spend a little more time with these characters to see what they're up to now....

genuinely one of the funniest shows I've ever seen? Fast-paced, a little mystery, a ton of science jargon, and a cast of very memorable characters (all played by the spectacular Ann Loud). This is one that you just can't miss!!! ...
