What I liked
Director Hope Carew shapes a hilarious show that gets under your skin in the best possible way. Ms. Maranto delves deep into the commodification of the chronically ill and does it with empathy and grace. She even has you rooting for people you shouldn’t root for because perhaps they will see the harm they are doing others. She does this without losing sight of the high stakes involved in managing chronic illness.
