Jordan’s unflinching eye contact with the audience kept me locked in the entire time. I loved how simple and grounded the presentation of the show was, it didn’t need much more than an excellent script and a locked in performance for the messaging to land. So much was said without needing to be said, which really spoke to the quality crafting of the show.

My overall impression
An hilarious exposé of the wellness industrial complex! Simultaneously a heartfelt exploration of the lived reality of a person struggling with the invisible struggle of chronic pain. The jokes HIT and Jordan’s performance of the multiple sides of this woman really anchored the story. I thought the twist was really smartly done, and left the show thinking a lot about the ways my struggles are capitalized on and the ways my life would be different if the American healthcare system was different.
