What I liked
Jordan’s acting is extremely impressive and she carries the whole show and gives 150 percent. Even when you think she can’t top herself, she pulls 10 more characters out of her hat at the end similarly to a fireworks spectacular ending.
What I didn't like
The energy is so high for so much of it and Jordan shows off a dramatic beat three quarters of the way through. I enjoyed that part as much as the funny bits, that I would have liked to have seen some more drama earlier in the solo act. Would have balanced out the high energy a little better but this is a nick pick.
My overall impression
Jordan is a strong talent for delivering this solo show that really exceeded my expectations. If this was an hour SNL, I would have hired her had that been my seat for the duration of the hour. Instead my seat was one of many who had signed up for Maya Dorjan’s help seminar! Jordan make the whole audience feel like we’re really there, transporting us and literally demanding our attention the whole time in a good way based on how committed she is to the role.
