What I liked
The Pearl is humorous, with the performers employing physical comedy in their acting, matching the absurdity of the premise. The Trick is more serious, with the performances matching that tone, while still being energetic and engaging. The two together form a good contrast for a dynamic overall show.
What I didn't like
Music balancing could be better in The Pearl to not drown out the dialogue in places.
