A smart and entertaining dark comedy that manages to balance absurd situations with something more emotional underneath. The premise is unusual, but the story stays surprisingly grounded because the relationships between the characters feel believable. I enjoyed how quickly the tone could shift from funny to uncomfortable or sincere....

I was very impressed by the scope, arc, and overall performance level of this play. The actors were all very talented and in tune with their characters. The physical comedy and blocking was perfection, and the writing was very smart. I loved the structure of the play, and how the writing made smart call backs to earlier jokes or plot points. A smartly put together and truly unique play. ...

The writing is incredible! I couldn’t stop laughing, sometimes giggling to myself and other times I couldn’t do anything other than cackle out loud. I spent so much of it laughing I almost didn’t see the emotionally vulnerable moments coming. This couple was so sweet and at some times ludicrous that I couldn’t help but root for them, end of the world be damned....

Trauma bondage is an absolutely fantastic show and piece of writing. I laughed and I cried. I confidently recommend this show to theatre-lovers and theatre-skeptics alike. This is the kind of Fringe show that makes you wonder where it's going next because it feels like it's just getting started. Don't miss it so you can say you saw it when. ...

There are plenty of apocalyptic shows out there, but this one explores something new, a fresh take on the apocalypse--what happens when it's a false alarm? This show is high energy and full of comedic moments. The two main characters are charming and while the supporting characters are technically villains, they're also endearing. But at the end, you realize it's not just a show about the possible apocalypse--it's about two people finding each other. ...
