Nearly everything! Quick scene transitions with good payoffs, incredible chemistry between actors, brilliant writing with twists I never saw coming, glorious callbacks, an impressive set, and excellent lighting. It is borderline unfair that a show as uproariously funny as this made me so misty-eyed at the end. It was almost Chekhovian in its last moments.
The second scene being a flashback made for a fun little mystery as we see how and why objects ended up placed where they were in the first scene. This show had extremely well-paced, solid writing and the performances by all involved were remarkable. The physical comedy was next-level and I was bent over laughing in my seat many, many times. Grant Terzakis and JJ Obee are absolute magic together. Easily a favorite of mine this Fringe!
What I didn't like
The looters both being non-white people was a little uncomfortable, but their pre-meteor (pre-teor?) careers softened that blow a little bit and both the script and performers made them very well-rounded and active characters elevated above simple stereotypes.
My overall impression
An explosive, touching comedy about desperation, love, lust, and trust.
