I loved the physical comedy and how the leads were a perfect foil for each other. The supporting characters also shined.
What I didn't like
Honestly hard to say, it was so great. I think if anything, just more danger coming in from the outside – more adversaries, more chaos, etc. that the two leads had to fight off together. But with the time constraint of one act, I think we had the right balance of it in this piece!
My overall impression
A high-concept thrill ride from start to finish! Somehow only told within the confines of a loft apartment, there is a rich world built in this romantic comedy. Every actor is firing on all cylinders, and despite the absurdity of it all, you can’t help but see parts of yourself in the two leads. Bravo to Grant and JJ for writing something that allows the hard truth of looking into the mirror to be not only palatable, but EXTREMELY funny!
