What I liked

(I’m not sure if this will be public – if so, warning: spoilers.) But I really liked when Pippa had sex with her house. That was a very funny place for the whole play to build to. Capital One cafe was also a great joke. And the woman who played the lawyer really killed it spinning around in those heels.

The part where Pippa said she felt less welcome in the world because of the eviction felt relatable and real. And I’m sorry that happened (in real life).

What I didn't like

The very beginning felt like the weakest part to me. It wasn’t nearly as funny as the rest of the show (to me). The story and characters found their feet much more a few scenes in.

My overall impression

Brain Eviction was silly and heartfelt and real and absurd. The performers brought a lot of joy to the piece, and I was pleased and surprised to see how it built and where it went. It made me feel good! Happy to be there.
