A fantastic walk down memory lane of the music, fashion, hair and vibe of the late 70’s and 80’s! Albie Selznick shares an autobiographical journey of self- discovery and growth during this period as a successful artist, magician, juggler, actor and most importantly – a compassionate human being. A visit to the Magic Castle as a 9 year old, and the viewing of an SNL performance by David Bowie, provided the sparks for young Albie’s lifelong pursuit of the arts.
In this one man show, Albie eloquently presents some hilarious behind the scenes anecdotes of his life in the entertainment industry, along with rare video clips and letters of his career with the Mums,
their work with various famous musical artists, and his ongoing efforts to meet and collaborate with David Bowie.
Was Albie ultimately successful in his Bowie quest? I would tell you, but that would spoil the fun. Please go see “Letter from David” for yourself. I think you will find it as thoroughly entertaining as I did – especially if you are from that era. I give it FIVESTARS 🤩
