What I liked
All four performances were beautiful. Loved the seriousness of the clown’s explanation of how to play Slap Jack. Anne Noble’s signature style is woven throughout the production, and every choice feels exactly right.

It all worked for me.
My overall impression
Whether your relationship with your father was close, complicated, or somewhere in between, this poignant story of a young woman’s yearning for another life and a father’s heartfelt longing for her love is unforgettable. Throw addiction into the mix and this is a play you will not forget.
