The performances are top notch and goes without saying, but i especially appreciated the clever transitions of the space. Stepping forward and backward in time, scene change, and location change all happening before my eyes with dancelike grace. Anyone looking to be utterly transported into the dingy world of a private eye will not be disappointed.
What I didn't like
No notes. Wouldn’t change a thing.
My overall impression
Dead man was the perfect Friday evening soiree complete with rain, saxophone and death (in its many forms). Hilarious comedic timing coupled with gut-wrenching vulnerability and excellent clowning has me wishing to see this at least once more.
