Well, I didn’t notice these other boxes, but I did like I said liked the acting was great. The staging was fantastic. The story was incredible and each character had something unique to add to the story. I also know I said in my previous box, but it wasn’t really a clown show, but I thought that the clown noses were hilarious. Obviously, they are They are very important to the plot. I’m sure I might’ve missed that aspect of the story or I can’t remember but they added a layer of fun to it but again it was great. I really enjoyed the show.
What I didn't like
Nothing is perfect. I’m a firm believer of this, but I do think that the show was great and exceeded my expectations from what I thought it was walking into it. A clown noir show is what it was described to me as and that’s pretty much what it was a noir detective show with clowns and it blew me away. I did see it a couple nights ago. But maybe one thing that could’ve been improved upon was the audience interaction Maybe I really like it when shows interact with the audience. But obviously the show didn’t need it, but a few times that had happened for fun and engaging.
My overall impression
Well, for starters, this was one of my first if not, my first friend show that I’ve ever seen and going into it. I expected a clown show, which is what my friend told me it was. This was true to an extent but wrong because the show was not about clowns really at all and unless for some reason I missed the point, but this one hour 50 minute show really made an impression on me because it was special. It had twists and turns things that I didn’t expect and the ending was beautiful. I’m not one to write really detailed reviews I can, but I’m not great at it so I’ll do my best here, but as I said this show was really special and if you have time to go see this show, I would recommend recommended. The four characters really played the reports very well. The acting was phenomenal. The set was simple, but powerful everything around it was very well done and the twist at the end was really felt. I hope this review was kind of good but please see the show and support your local theater companies and of course fringe. It’s a fun thing to go enjoy for an hour or so.
