What I liked
The actors were fantastic and the characters were wonderfully specific. The separation of the noir story was so well done. Gorgeous lighting design and the staging was fun. Would love to see this fully performed in the round.
What I didn't like
Some of the lines during the bartender scene were way too specific and you lost the audience a bit as the jokes didn’t land because of it.
My overall impression
A beautiful piece that will make you laugh and cry. The acting is superb and it’s gorgeously written. Twists and turns you won’t expect. Just trust the journey these artists are taking you on. The kind of show you will want to see again once the pieces all come together.
