What I liked—can I just say “everything” and let it go at that? The premise was original, the writing was sharp and smart and funny—and delivered by a stellar cast (Ann Noble, Jeffrey Johnson, Robin McDonald, and the very busy Christian Haines), and the staging (by Noble) was excellent.
What I didn't like
A little more light upstage, please, to allow us to see Robin McDonald’s wonderful performance.
My overall impression
An original dark clown comedy—clownedy?— with a deft cast that had me laughing from the first line and left me in tears. I’m going to try to see this one again.
