My overall impression
Really interesting exploration of Cat On a Hot Tin Roof. I was thankful I knew the play so well and couldn’t help but wonder if it was confusing or lost on audience who didn’t know the play at all, but some great ensemble work regardless. The stand out of the show was Blaire Chandler as Big Mama. Simply mesmerizing and so specific that it was hard to watch what else was happening on stage sometimes! My mind wandered at times and I feel like it could have been a little more grounded and cohesive, but I’m definitely glad I saw it.
